Manchester United Completes Signing Of Victor Lindelof From Benfica For £31m

Manchester United has completed the signing of  Victor Lindelof from Benfica on a four-year contract from 1 July 2017, with an option for a further year. The  former Benfica center back has been on the radar of Manchester United and are happy to make the announcement as they finnally got thier man. The 22 year old Swedish international is ready to  make his debut on the summer tour of the USA in July. Team coach coach Jose Mourinho has since welcome the versatile defender and has this to say; “Victor is a very talented young player, who has a great future ahead of him at United. Our season last year showed us that we need options and quality to add depth to the squad and Victor is the first to join us this summer. I know that our fantastic group of players will welcome him as one of us.”

Sunday Oliseh Appoints His New Assistants For His Club

Fortuna Sittard’s manager, Sunday Oliseh, has appointed Alexander Voigt and Gino Facenna as his two assistant coaches, ahead of the 2017/2018 Dutch second division campaign. The super super eagles couch has gone ahead to apoint his assistants  ahead of the 2017/2018 Dutch second division campaign, this was part of the terms and conditions he gave to the mangement of the team when he accepted the job as manager for the second division side Fortuna Sittard. Voigt, a former player of Borussia Mönchengladbach, Greuther Fürth FSV Frankfurt, Carl Zeiss Jena, Victoria Cologne and Roda JC, will be Oliseh’s first assistant coach. “When I joined the club in January I told the management I wanted my own assistants and those terms were agreed upon that we would get them from the start of the 2017/18 season,” Oliseh explained to Complete Sports. The team will start pre-season at the Greenpark Kartepe Resort in Turkey from July 10 to 19 Olishe revealed.

Kelechi Iheancho And De Bruyne Sinks Man United

Manchester is blue today as the much anticipated derby game ended on a 2:1 in favor of city who had a better day on the pitch. Two goals from De bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho in the first half was enough to sink the Reds, although a consolation goal came just before half time for United when  Ibrahimovic capitalised on a flimsy mistake from city goalie debutant Claudio Bravo. The game started brighter for United, but the visitors quickly earned control of the game and De Bruyne handed them the lead after a quarter of an hour, De Bruyne  who had a very trying time in Chelsea under   Mourinho  became a thorn for the United boss today as he punished city with an emphatic display today. It was also a good day today for Kelechi Iheanacho as the young Nigerian added a goal to his name and an assist giving spectators and the football community a lot to talk about. The young star lived up to the challenge and established himself on the city side.

Amokachi's Twin Sons Signs For Besiktas

Former Super Eagles assistant coach, Daniel Amokachi, has confirmed that his twin sons, Nazim and Kalim, have both signed one-year contracts with his former club, Besiktas. Mikel Obi Gets A Refund By Sports Ministry

The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports has refunded the $4,600 paid for the team in São Paulo on their way to Salvador by the Dream Team’s captain, Mikel Obi. The coach of Nigeria’s Olympic football squad, Samson Siasia, said on Friday that he will support players boycotting Saturday’s football quarter-final against Denmark over unpaid allowances. “We have only been paid allowances for 11 days. Nigeria International Alex Iwobi Receives Plaque To Mark Premier League Debut

Nigeria international forward, Alex Iwobi has received a special plaque to mark his Premier League debut for Arsenal. Iwobi last season made his league bow for Arsenal in their 3-0 win at Swansea in October 2015.The 20-year-old went on to impress, scoring two league goals as he featured regularly for the Gunners. Iwobi took to his Instagram to share a photo of a commemorative picture he was awarded for his league debut. The forward is among the 67 homegrown graduates who made their Premier League debut last season. Lazio midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has joined Turkish SuperLig side Trabzonspor after six years at the Rome based side Lazio.
