The Ex- Niger Delta militants who were trained by Innoson Motors under the sponsorship of the federal government has shown the dividends of the amnesty program after dropping their arms to embrace peace. The 32 sitter bus is a product of their training with Innoson Motors. Kudos to the federal government for the initiative and congrats to the ex-militants.

Nigeria’s crude oil production suffered fresh set back Monday as Trans Niger Pipeline, (TNP), which exports about 180, 000 barrels of crude oil per day was shut down as a precautionary measure after a fire was seen on the “right of way” at Gio community in Ogoni land, one of the two pipelines that export Bonny Light crude oil. TNP transports crude oil to the Bonny Export Terminal and is part of the liquid gas evacuation infrastructure, critical for continued domestic power generation (Afam VI power plant) and liquefied gas exports. According to the spokesman for Shell Petroleum Development Corporation (SPDC), the operator of the joint venture with Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Precious Okolobo, “It was not yet clear whether export supplies will be subject to force majeure. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is boosting rice production in Nigeria by funding agriculture This is expected to make Nigeria self-sufficient in food production     – It denied the claim that Nigeria was distributing genetically-modified rice as claimed by Radio Biafra     With the price of rice hitting the roof in recent times, Nigeria can expect relief as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation revealed that it was funding six agricultural commodities value chains with emphasis on rice production.     The Punch reports that in a bid to ensure food sufficient in Nigeria. Manchester is blue today as the much anticipated derby game ended on a 2:1 in favor of city who had a better day on the pitch. Two goals from De bruyne and Kelechi Iheanacho in the first half was enough to sink the Reds, although a consolation goal came just before half time for United when  Ibrahimovic capitalised on a flimsy mistake from city goalie debutant Claudio Bravo. The game started brighter for United, but the visitors quickly earned control of the game and De Bruyne handed them the lead after a quarter of an hour, De Bruyne  who had a very trying time in Chelsea under   Mourinho  became a thorn for the United boss today as he punished city with an emphatic display today.
