A short poem about The fallen giant of Africa.
Long Gone are the glory days of a one time great country called Nigeria.
A country filled with milk and honey, a safe and peaceful land one can proudly call home and sleep with both eyes closed, when one Naira was equivalent to two Euros.
A safe destination for foriegners who live among us.
A pride of Africa.
What really went wrong.
Is there any sign of hope?
In this short video clip the poet Chiamaka Treasure analyses an epileptic, sick and pittyful state of Nigeria that has been infected with a deadly desease called 'Curruption'.
Like the proverb goes 'When the head of a fish is rotten, the rest part the body will be infected'.
The people who call themselves leaders has over the years termpered and manipulated the resources of this country to the point were there is little or nothing to be savaged by our generation or generations to come.
