The Enugu state governor could not hold back as tears rolled down his cheek after seeing the havoc caused by Fulani herdsmen when he visited Uzo-Uwani local government of the state.
The governor accompanied by the state commissioner of police Mr Nwobodo Ekechukwu, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps and the Nigerian army inspected and sympathise with the residents of the community and ask them to take the matter into the hands of God.
He also declared two days of fasting and prayer in the state.
One more body was found slaughtered, while many with various injuries in the head and neck were being admitted and receiving treatment in various hospitals in Nsukka and others moved to Enugu state university teaching hospital.
