TV personality, Denrele Edun was on Monday
involved in another dramatic fall which left him
hurt in the face during a movie shoot.
Injured Denrele, who posted a video of himself
after the incident on Instagram said no artist has
suffered in the craft of entertainment like
himself.
Read him, “They say that true artists suffer for
their craft, but perhaps no artist has suffered like
myself on this hustle of mine!
“All in a bid to make my acting more convincing,
I was supposed to drop into a faint in the very
first scene of the movie ‘PEPPER SOUP’.
“I guess I miscalculated and fell hard on a
metallic object on the floor that pierced my face.
I kinda blacked out for a few seconds and felt
something warm running down my face.
“Truth is, a blood vessel just a lil above my right
eye (an inch away from my eyebrow bone) was
burst open and it was hard to control the
bleeding!
Recall that the talented TV personality, had a
similar accident at a fashion Runway – ‘The
Event Show‘ an annual event hosted by Tres Bien
Events in Port Harcourt last year.
They say that true artists suffer for their
craft, but perhaps no artist has suffered like
myself on this hustle of ours! The moment I
got the script titled #PepperSoup from
@graceobobaedwinokon with me as the lead
character, I just wanted to jump onboard!
And yes, I jumped on in my gangsta mode!
Whilst shooting the first scene, I was
supposed to pass out but in a bid to make it
convincing, I fell on my face and accidentally
split my eye brow area open! I bled like
crazy!!! REAL BLOOD!!! The producer wanted
to strike set and cancel shoot but I refused!
Say what? First rule: the show must go on!
And I was kinda lucky we were shooting in a
hospital so there were nurses to dress the
wound. Had to add some extra extra
extensions to my hair to hide the plaster…
And I got back on set like nothing happened!
Im in a lot of pain but hey…THE SHOW MUST
GO ON! Here’s your favorite StageFaller with
another beautiful FALL! #DustsShoulders

The highly pronounced power failures across the country in the past few days may worsen following a partial system collapse that occurred on Tuesday, and the continuous drop in electricity generation due to what the government says is the vandalism of pipelines that supply gas to the power plants. As a result, power generation dropped to 1,580.6 megawatts on Wednesday.Data from the Nigeria Electricity System Operator as well as information from senior officials of the different electricitydistribution companies confirmed that power generation plummeted massively on Tuesday and Wednesday. The officials noted that this resulted in the reduction of the electricity load allocated to the Discos, stressing that this was why many parts of the country had been recording blackouts in the past few days.It was learnt that the partial system collapse that occurred on Tuesday happened at the Shiroro Power Plant and dragged down electricity generationto as low as 1,233.4MW from a peak of 3,207.7MW...
