The murder trial of suspects who lynched   Major Maxwell Mahama, commander of the military detachment at Denkyira-Obuasi, the Central Region of Ghana to death on Monday, May 29, 2017, after they mistook him for an armed robber, has begun. 26 suspects out of the 52 people initially arrested for allegedly taking part in the lynching the late major were conveyed in a huge blue van, and arraigned at the District Court in Accra. Other 26 suspects who were discharged have also been arrested for the police to carry out further investigation. Billionaire Kidnapper Evans Is Asare Nelson In HIs Ghanaian Passpot

Recent investigations concerning the notorious billionaire kidnapper Evans has revealed thta he obtained a Ghanaian passport with a fake name as Asare Nelson, the revelation was made by the Nigeria’s Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris, while cautioning the Ghanaian authorities to tighten modalities for the issuance of passports.  It was gathered that Evans was issued a Ghanaian passport on January 10, 2013. “Nigerians are celebrating the arrest of the Ghanaian-Nigerian. Ghanaian because he has a Ghanaian passport something you guys have to look at,” he advised. Ghana’s Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Charles Owiredu told Joy News   Thursday   that any persons found to have played a role in the issuance, would be duly dealt with according to the law. Manchester United Completes Signing Of Victor Lindelof From Benfica For £31m

Manchester United has completed the signing of  Victor Lindelof from Benfica on a four-year contract from 1 July 2017, with an option for a further year. The  former Benfica center back has been on the radar of Manchester United and are happy to make the announcement as they finnally got thier man. The 22 year old Swedish international is ready to  make his debut on the summer tour of the USA in July. Team coach coach Jose Mourinho has since welcome the versatile defender and has this to say; “Victor is a very talented young player, who has a great future ahead of him at United. Our season last year showed us that we need options and quality to add depth to the squad and Victor is the first to join us this summer. I know that our fantastic group of players will welcome him as one of us.”

Sunday Oliseh Appoints His New Assistants For His Club

Fortuna Sittard’s manager, Sunday Oliseh, has appointed Alexander Voigt and Gino Facenna as his two assistant coaches, ahead of the 2017/2018 Dutch second division campaign. The super super eagles couch has gone ahead to apoint his assistants  ahead of the 2017/2018 Dutch second division campaign, this was part of the terms and conditions he gave to the mangement of the team when he accepted the job as manager for the second division side Fortuna Sittard. Voigt, a former player of Borussia Mönchengladbach, Greuther Fürth FSV Frankfurt, Carl Zeiss Jena, Victoria Cologne and Roda JC, will be Oliseh’s first assistant coach. “When I joined the club in January I told the management I wanted my own assistants and those terms were agreed upon that we would get them from the start of the 2017/18 season,” Oliseh explained to Complete Sports. The team will start pre-season at the Greenpark Kartepe Resort in Turkey from July 10 to 19 Olishe revealed.
